Blog Roll! ✨

Here is a list of 5 blogs I love to follow that have amazing resources for SLPs! Take a look at your leisure... :)

The first blog is one I have been following for a while called The Speech Bubble. This blog is mainly geared toward school-based SLPs and provides helpful resources for these professionals such as information on literacy-based therapy, data-taking strategies, pragmatics, language, and speech sound therapy tips, and recommendations for books to use in therapy.

The next blog is called the Adult Speech Therapy blog. This website is a good resource for all things adult speech therapy. Some of their blog posts contain information on documentation in this setting, what to assess, tips for making a treatment plan, and even goal banks! Definitely useful for the current practicum we are in!

Bjorem Speech is another blog focusing on children's speech therapy. Jennie Bjorem is a talented and experienced speech therapist who has created so many amazing therapy resources. I initially found her on Instagram where she often posts videos of her treatment sessions with kiddos showing how to use all the wonderful products she has created. Definitely check out her blog, too, if this is an area you're interested in!

MedSLP blog is a fantastic resource for all things a medical-based SLP would need! Not only do they have great blog posts about the medical SLP specialty, but they also provide useful handout sheets for studying graduate students who need refreshers on certain medical topics! I 100% recommend you check them out during our third practicum, and also for study help for the Praxis.

Speaking of Samantics is a blog created by an SLP during her graduate school experience, and she *knows* how tough grad school can be. I found out about her blog by finding her through Instagram. My favorite thing about her site is the Praxis study program she has created! If you prefer a game-based study program, hers is the one to check out!
